Join P4A's Advisory Committee

Are you 18-30 years of age and have an interest in advancing flood resilience in Canadian Communities?

Partners for Action (P4A) is looking to recruit two post-secondary students or young professionals (one Indigenous and one non-Indigenous) to join our Advisory Committee.

As a member of the P4A Advisory Committee you will have the opportunity to help shape Canada’s flood resilient future. Flooding is Canada’s most common and costly disaster. With climate change, the frequency and severity of floods is expected to increase.

By joining the Advisory Committee, you will connect with a dedicated team of researchers, practitioners, government, and industry partners to reduce the impacts of flooding by:

  • Guiding innovative research with advice and strategic foresight

  • Contributing to climate change adaptation and planning

  • Amplifying evidence-based research that strives to reduce the impacts of floods

Advisory Committee members under 30 years of age will receive an honorarium of $75 per meeting.
