Anna Ziolecki, Director of Partners for Action at the University of Waterloo, leads a network of collaborators from academia, government, the private sector and non-government organizations, who are committed to advancing Canadian flood resiliency in a changing climate. With more than 15 years of experience in university research development and administration, Anna has seen first-hand how applied research partnerships involving diverse stakeholders can effect meaningful change when directed at solving complex social problems like flooding.
Prior to joining P4A, Anna served as Manager of Research Partnerships with the Southern Ontario Water Consortium, where she managed its $12-million technology development funding program and forged relationships between academic researchers from numerous faculties and small, medium and large industry clients. Anna has a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Victoria, and she has conducted interdisciplinary research on many contemporary policy issues.
