Convocation mugs

After much consideration and consultation, it has been decided that Grebel’s Spring Convocation event will be held in person at a later date. The tentative date is currently October 25, 2020. Details will be released when they are available.

If you are graduating from the PACS program, congratulations! We want to celebrate your achievement with you!

Submit an Application to Graduate

To graduate from Waterloo and obtain your diploma, it is required that you fill out an Application to Graduate form. To participate in the June convocation, this form is due by March 1, or by August 1 for the October convocation. More information about getting ready for Waterloo's convocation can be found on the Registrar's Office Convocation website.

Grebel's Convocation Celebration

If you have or are completing your studies in Fall 2019, Winter 2020, Spring 2020, or Fall 2020, please fill in the Convocation Form regardless of whether you plan to participate in Grebel’s Convocation event. The information provided in the form moves you from the status of current student to a Grebel alumni, complete with the perks of attending alumni events!

2019 convocation

As a PACS student, you have been a part of the Grebel community in some capacity over the course of your undergraduate degree. We have been blessed by your presence in this place and want to seize this opportunity to celebrate your achievement with you! Conrad Grebel has traditionally held its own Convocation ceremony to celebrate this bond. (This in no way replaces the University of Waterloo Convocation when you will receive your official degree.) Grebel's Convocation involves students from the MUSIC, CMW, PACS, MTS, MPACS, and residence programs to come together and recognize their achievements.

On the form there is a space to indicate whom you would like Grebel to send convocation invitations to on your behalf. Also, after the forms are submitted you will be notified about the participating undergraduates in order to nominate a valedictorian.

If someone you know is planning to graduate and they have not yet received an email from Pam Bartel (Residence/Associate); Claudia Van Decker (Music), The PACS Academic Advisor (PACS), Seth Ratzlaff (MPACS) or Birgit Moscinski or Rebekah Smoot-Enns (MTS), have them contact their respective Administrative Assistant or let one of us know to contact them.
