d _Bridge_ in\n2015 to create a space for all University community memb
ers to learn\nabout the crisis as they reflect upon their responsibilities
and share\nin speaking the names of the lives taken to honour and remembe
r as the\nred fabric is tied to the bridge between Environment 3 and Unite
d\nCollege.\n\nFor the Opening Ceremony\, we are requesting volunteers to
read the\nnames — please contact Sorouja Moll. \n\nThe gesture to name
 \, remember\, and honour the 5000+ missing and\nmurdered Indigenous Women\
, Girls\, and Two Spirit People across the\nmany nations in Canada is an a
ctive engagement in learning about the\ndepth of the crisis in Canada whil
e resisting and (en)countering the\nexisting silence that continues to shr
oud it. Originally installed in\nMontreal in 2009\, as _The Writing Names
  Project_\, Moll's\nresearch-creation initiative is a counter-memorial and
is part of a\nmeaningful and sustained collaborative intercultural praxis
  between\nIndigenous and non-Indigenous communities. \n\nWatch the_ Brid
