Abdullah is a mathematical modeler interested in the application of dynamical modeling and machine learning techniques to systems pharmacology and pharmacoeconomics. He completed his PhD in control systems engineering at the University of Cambridge. His doctoral work developed mathematical methods for the analysis of emergent behavior in multicellular systems biology models. As a postdoc, he has worked on the re-engineering of feedback regula­tion in genetic circuits for synthetic biology applications.
