Welcome to the School of Pharmacy

The School of Pharmacy at the University of Waterloo is the first new pharmacy school in Canada in 20 years and housed in a state-of-the-art education and research building on the Health Sciences Campus in downtown Kitchener. 

We offer an innovative undergraduate pharmacy curriculum that integrates foundational knowledge in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences with applied skills in the clinical, behavioural and social sciences to prepare our graduates to serve as medication therapy experts.

    Excellence in teaching is both a tradition and a core mission of the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Science. Each year the Faculty of Science celebrates this dedication and superior teaching calibre by selecting two instructors to receive its highest teaching honour: the Excellence in Science Teaching Award (ESTA).

    We’re pleased to announce that Feng Chang, faculty member at the School of Pharmacy, has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure.

    April 3 marked the second annual Interprofessional Education (IPE) Day, an event which saw over 400 students from 5 healthcare professions team up in London for a day of collaborative learning.
