Welcome to the School of Pharmacy

The School of Pharmacy at the University of Waterloo is the first new pharmacy school in Canada in 20 years and housed in a state-of-the-art education and research building on the Health Sciences Campus in downtown Kitchener. 

We offer an innovative undergraduate pharmacy curriculum that integrates foundational knowledge in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences with applied skills in the clinical, behavioural and social sciences to prepare our graduates to serve as medication therapy experts.

    On June 14, 31 bridging students and two graduate students received their degrees at the University of Waterloo spring convocation. The School welcomed graduates and their families at a reception before the main convocation ceremony.

    Students, alumni, and faculty of Waterloo Pharmacy had a strong showing at the Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) 2018 conference. The OPA conference is an annual meeting that brings together more than 500 pharmacists from across Ontario and features presentations on best practices and emerging trends in pharmacy.

    Each year Waterloo Pharmacy presents an award for Co-op Supervisor of the Year. The award recognizes a supervisor who has shown outstanding commitment to mentorship of Waterloo Pharmacy students on co-operative education work terms.
