Council & Constitution

Current Council

The following council will represent PhGA from Fall 2016-Spring 2017.

President: Gokul Pullagura

Acting head and leader of the PhGA. Attends GSA meetings and ensures grad students of Pharmacy  are properly represented at UW.

Vice-President Student Affairs: Amirreza Rafiee

Responsible for internal affairs pertaining to the graduate student body. Ensures a pleasant student experience at the UW School of Pharmacy. 

Vice-President Communications and Events: Heather Dekker

Responsible for communications between the student body, PhGA execs. and the administrative staff. Involved with social event planning for the student body.

Treasurer and Vice-President Finance: Amy Pham

Assumes the financial responsibilities of the PhGA including the annual budget. Involved with event planning and fundraising activities.

Vice-President Operations: Alexandra Durocher

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the PhGA and helps organize event planning. Works in conjunction with VP Finance to plan and coordinate snack shack funds.

PharmClub Chair

Razan Amoud is the PharmClub Chair for Fall 2016-Spring 2017.

Trivia Mania Chair

 Alanna King is the Trivia Mania Chair for Fall 2016-Spring 2017.


The constitution outlines the general proceedings governing the PhGA, its responsibilities, goals and governance.

As such, it is eligible for complete or partial review when the presiding council and/or majority student vote necessitates such as review. Newly elected council members are also required to review the constitution soon after their appointment.

Any questions, comments or concerns about the constitution need to be addressed to the presiding VP Student Affairs.
