Eliminating Medication Errors: There is a Patient Behind Every PrescriptionExport this event to calendar

Wednesday, November 7, 2018 — 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST

There is a patient behind every prescription. Melissa Sheldrick.

In March 2016, Melissa Sheldrick’s 8-year-old son Andrew died after a series of errors were made during the dispensing process at their pharmacy. In this public lecture, hear how this tragic event inspired Melissa’s campaign to improve medication error reporting across Canada, and learn about the medication use process, including the role we can all play in ensuring medication safety.
