Join us on October 13 at 7:00pm for a virtual PEBC Prep session with alumni, Rx2018 Khrystine Waked and Rx2019 Ashley Cid. Ashley and Khrystine will share strategies for PEBC preparation, what to focus on, what to expect and helpful study tips. They will then answer your questions.

Dr. Ashley Cid is a PhD candidate at the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy. She is a licensed pharmacist working at an independent pharmacy in Tillsonburg, and she also works for the Ontario Pharmacist's Association on the Professional Affairs Team conducting research and policy work. Dr. Cid obtained her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees in 2019 at the University of Waterloo, where she discovered her passion for teaching and research. Her research interests include computer-based education, program evaluation, knowledge translation, and harm reduction. During her PhD she will design and evaluate a national pharmacist continuing education program that focuses on improving pharmacists' knowledge, confidence and communication skills when it comes to offering naloxone kits in everyday practice.


Khrystine Waked photo
Khrystine Waked is an Rx2018 alumnus working as a full-time family health team pharmacist at New Vision FHT. She also works for the MINT regional memory clinic and an independent pharmacy in Breslau. She completed her pharmacy residency with the Centre for Family Medicine/University of Waterloo in September 2019. Since then, she continues to be involved with the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy as a sessional instructor for PHARM 155: Introduction to Drug Information Fundamentals, PHARM 127: Professional Communication Skills, and as a TA for PHARM 467: Management of Oral Anticoagulation Therapy.
