- What are the admission requirements for international students?
- How do I know if I qualify as an international student?
- Can I apply to your program if I have already completed my pharmacy degree elsewhere?
The admission requirements are the same for international students as they are for domestic students. International students must take the equivalent to all courses listed on the Academic Requirements section of our website. In addition, international students should ensure that they meet the English Language Requirements for admission to the University of Waterloo.
Please request a list of course equivalencies for your institution by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If we do not already have course equivalencies on file for your institution, you will need to submit detailed course syllabi so that we can evaluate your courses for equivalency.
You are welcome to apply to the program if you meet all of the admissions criteria. If admitted, all students begin in Year One of our four year program. There is no possibility to 'transfer' into our program. Please refer to the licensing body in the province that you wish to practice for further information on becoming a licensed pharmacist with your current degree.
