Alumni and friends of the Waterloo Pharmacy community came together for a competitive and fun –filled day of golf in support of our Student Success Fund. Now in it’s 7th year, the event has raised close to $200,000 providing pharmacy students with funding to attend professional conferences across the country and supporting other student activities.
Congratulations to the following:

When Elaine Lillie first joined Waterloo Pharmacy in 2007, the School had no building, no curriculum, and no students. She was replying to an advertisement in the Waterloo Region Record. The job: communications instructor. The requirements: educational experience and a background in pharmacy.
“I was intrigued by a professional school that had the insight to understand that it needed focus on communication, that communication is the key that grants patients access to care providers’ knowledge,” says Elaine. “I wanted to meet these people and hoped I convince them to let me be a part of the team.”
N.K.S Health in Mississauga is a specialty pharmacy that focuses on biologic medications – a class of drugs that are produced from living organisms and treat conditions that range from rheumatoid arthritis to migraines.
As of September 1, a new Executive Committee will begin their terms. The Executive Committee is responsible for high-level management of the School of Pharmacy: members oversee other major committees such as the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, the Undergraduate Admissions Committee, and the Graduate Studies and Research Committee.
The Executive Committee also leads the School through strategic planning, consulting with stakeholders to define short and long-term goals and to develop a vision to guide the School’s programs.
