Golf Tournament Raises Funds for Student Scholarships and Awards

The inaugural Waterloo Pharmacy Golf Invitational held on Sept. 18 at Grey Silo Golf Club was a tremendous success. Close to $28,000 was raised for initiatives that will enhance the educational and professional development of pharmacy students here at Waterloo. Despite less than perfect weather, it was an enjoyable day that provided an opportunity to connect faculty and students with members of the pharmacy community, raise the profile of our School, and most importantly raise funds to provide much needed scholarships and awards.
