Since graduating as a member of Waterloo’s first graduating class – the Vanguards — Dr. Heather Foley is now on a mission to discover all there is to know about the profession of pharmacy.
After completing her hospital residency training, Heather has worked in a variety of roles across the continuum of health care. She has held positions in hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, telepharmacy and as a member of a primary care team. Since March 2014, Heather has also been in the role of Regional Clinical Coordinator for the Windsor Area, and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy.
Heather currently works full-time as a pharmacist consulting for a non-profit corporation which provides patient care services to seven Family Health Teams in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent. Through this Primary Care Innovation Collaborative, she is helping to support patients with atrial fibrillation.
