Pharmacy Co-op

Experiential learning plays a key role in the training of future pharmacists. At the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy, our students must complete four pharmacy co-op work terms. Co-op is a well established educational model that promotes continuous learning through the integration of classroom and applied work-based learning. It is a learner-centered model where the onus is on the student to direct their own learning and make a valuable contribution. With the support of our employers, we intend to offer the students a diverse selection of work term opportunities.

To learn more about the co-op experience for our students, we invite you review the documents on this web page.
