Getting Your Story Out: Knowledge Translation for Philosophy Graduate StudentsExport this event to calendar

Friday, January 19, 2018 — 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM EST

Andria BianchiPresenters: Andria Bianchi and Patricia Marino

Interested in telling non-philosophers about your research?  You should be!

This workshop will highlight some of the personal, professional, and intellectual advantages of translating philosophical scholarship to non-philosophical audiences - both academic and public - and will offer some tip on how to do it well.  We'll consider Three Minute Thesis and GRADTalks, and other opportunities to bring philosophical scholarship to a wider audience.

Lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP with any special dietary needs to Tawnessa Carter so that we order enough lunch.

Don't miss the 2018 University of Waterloo 3MT coaching session and boot camp January 18 and 25!
