Anglophone and Francophone editors of Dialogue
Dialogue has for decades been the most tangible expression of the distinctiveness and vitality of the Canadian Philosophical Association, and of the Canadian philosophical community. It finds itself, however, at a crossroads. On one side is renewal and reinvigoration. There are myriad new ways in which the mission of Dialogue can be rethought in order to occupy a distinctive and vital place in the increasingly crowded and constantly mutating field of academic publishing, and the prospect of moving the journal in a new, innovative direction is an exciting one.
Down the other road lies extinction. To put it simply, we need an editor (or editors). Dialogue won’t edit itself. If you are a philosopher working in a Canadian academic Department, please consider the possibility that you might be the person who can do the job. Get in touch, and let’s explore the possibility. Don’t let the dialogue be silenced.
