February 13, 2023: Dogs Against Cat Calling
Do you love doggos? Do you hate cat calling? Wanna hang out with some doggos who are taking a stand against street harassment?Come by the multi-purpose room in the Student Life Centre on Monday February 13th from 2-3 pm to hang out with our furry, friendly therapy dogs! While you’re there, visit with SVPRO and the Sexual Assault Support Center (SASC), and take home some fun swag. If you can’t make it for the doggos, be sure to come by any time after 10 am to say hello, and spin SVPRO’s new wheel, complete with prizes!

We are pleased to announce the next online workshop series: Science for Humanity. The series will focus on:
Building connections and collaborations between women researchers across Canada
Providing practical tools for decision-making, and ethical science
Celebrating the important contributions of science to the world and the humans who make it possible

This workshop is an online film screening of The Path to Nuclear Fission: The Story of Lise Meitner and Otto Hahn (2006) followed by an online discussion with Rosemarie Reed, the director of the movie and special guest.

In this workshop, we will discuss how we are all interconnected and how through collaborating with one another we can build a movement for the inclusion of all in science.
