Phys10 Undergraduate Seminar Series - on Teams

Kartik Talwar

This week in Phys 10 we have waterloo physics alumni Kartik Talwar coming to present. You may recognize Kartik's name from being a Forbes 30 under 30 recipient back in 2018, along with founding Hack the North and ETHglobal.

Kartik’s current role is vetting the newest and most advanced technologies out there and helping to decide who receives capital investment, and has gone on to invest in companies like Coinbase, Atom Computing, Uniswap, and CryptoKitties. Kartik will talk about his path from physics student, to software engineer, to investor, along with how his physics education allowed him to explore new fields.

For anyone that's interested in hearing about what opportunities a physics education can grant you beyond academia, and how you can best utilize your education, then this will be a great talk to attend.

This talk is geared toward an upper year audience; as always, everyone is welcome to attend.
