Come out to hear how to find a supervisor for graduate school, the research done in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Waterloo and ask any questions that you have about the application process.

We will still be accepting applications to graduate school in Physics, Physics (Quantum Information) and Physics (Nano) beyond this week’s deadline. So whether you have applied and need advice on finding a supervisor or you are planning to apply, please join us!

Pizza lunch will be provided during this session.

Located at a crossroads where world-class faculty, including a Nobel prize winner from the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the Institute of Quantum Computing, and Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics come together to study every scale of the physical world, from the quantum to the cosmos.

Experimentalists and theorists interact closely. Research is undertaken in a wide range of fields within physics and astronomy.

Whether you are interested in creating exotic quantum materials, studying laser optics, building bio-sensors, or exploring supermassive black holes we offer the course and thesis opportunities to match your passion.
