Simon works on cosmology: the study of the evolution and contents of the universe as a whole. His research interests include line intensity mapping and its promise for cosmology, perturbation theory for large-scale structure (specifically the effective field theory approach), weak gravitational lensing, and efficient use of N-body simulations.
