Richard Epp has a master's degree in electrical engineering and completed his PhD in theoretical physics on quantum field theory. He is particularly known for his contributions in physics outreach, most notably for being the founder and main lecturer during the International Summer School for Young Physicists program held at the University of Waterloo and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics every year.
Now at the Department of Physics and Astronomy here at University of Waterloo, Richard devotes his energy to his teaching, and advising.
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples.
