Ena oversees the management of the graduate program in Physics and is mainly involved in the streamlining of processes and procedures within the graduate program. Admissions, graduate funding and budget management, as well as resource development fall under her portfolio.
Before joining the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Ena lived in the beautiful city of Vancouver and worked as a Project Coordinator within the Human Resources department at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and as a Learning Advisor at Brainstation (an institute focused on digital skills training).
Ena graduated from University of Waterloo and has a degree in Honours Arts and Business with a focus on the German language and Human Resources before completing her Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Queen’s University. Besides being a UW alumni, Ena also worked in the Department of Biology and Department of Political Science as well as the Quality Assurance and Academic Integrity Office where she was oversaw the cyclical program review process and worked on a collaborative effort to create an academic integrity mobile app.
