Apparatus:
Braun electroscope, rubber rod, fur, UVA/B source

Description:
Using the rubber rod and fur, negative charge is transferred to the electrosope. Exposing the electroscope to UVB causes the electroscope to lose its charge.
A pane of glass my be used to block the UVB.

This equipment may ablso be used to show photoelectric charging. With the clean zinc plate on an uncharged electroscope and illuminated with the UV light, a glass rod rubbed with silk may be used to charge the electroscope by induction.
