U.W.P.S. Crime Report–  from Jan. 20 to 26, 2015

Suspicious Person:

On January 22nd UWPS received a report of male acting suspiciously in the Tatham Centre. At approximately 5:50 p.m. staff observed a man walking around the main floor. He seemed out of place and when approached refused to identify himself. He left the building and was last seen heading toward South Campus Hall.

Suspect’s description:

Appeared to be Mid-Eastern, between 5’4 to 5’10 tall, 200 lbs, large build – large round frame, dark complexion, salt and pepper beard, balding head, wearing a black leather jacket, dark clothing and black boots, carrying a backpack and a small white box. He spoke with a middle eastern accent.

Students, staff and faculty are reminded to contact UWPS immediately upon encountering anyone that is acting suspiciously or seems out of place on campus.

Property Damage:

Between 6:00 p.m. January 14th and 9:30 a.m. January 15th a vehicle parked in the south parking lot at CLV was damaged. The vehicles antenna was broken and the hood and passenger side of the vehicle were heavily scratched causing several hundreds of dollars in damages.
