Break and Enters:

U.W.P.S. are investigating 4 break and enters that took place to rooms within the Math Building between 6:00 and 7:15 p.m. on September 7th. It is believed a male suspect entered the building via the front doors and began searching for items to steal. Photos of a suspect entering and leaving the building have been captured. Four offices were entered on the 3rd floor and the following items were stolen:

o   2 Apple IMAC desktop computers along with accompanying keyboards, mouse’s and power cords

o   Asus PC Netbook

o   Apple monitor and keyboard

o   Various computer power cords

o   Loose coins

  • Suspect’s description: Male, wearing a white and gray t-shirt with a white logo  on front, white pants, black shoes, black baseball cap, and carrying a large black should bag

Thefts:

U.W.P.S. are investing the theft of cash from a locker room at the C.I.F. on Sept. 13th. . A visiting universities varsity soccer team was in attendance at Warrior Field. They changed and left personal belongings in a C.I.F. locker room. Upon returning to the room at the end of the game 5 of these student athletes discovered various amounts of cash had been removed from their wallets. A suspect’s image was captured on a CCTV surveillance camera.

  • Suspect description:  Male/ white/ late 30's to early 40's/ facial scruff/ median build/ approx. 220lbs / approx. 5'8 to 5'10. Wearing: Black shirt with white graphics, dark colored jeans, black running shoes with white laces and a black and grey camouflage jacket with hood

  • Gym Bag:

o   Sept. 13th, between 6:15 and 7:10 p.m.

     -  PAC from unsecured in men’s locker

         * Good Life Fitness gym bag containing various articles of clothing, red and black with white lettering. wallet recovered same day but was missing cash from inside

  • Phones (2): 

o   Sept. 9th, at approximately 11:30 a.m.

     - outside V1 E5

        * Apple IPhone, gold

o   Sept. 9th, at approximated 12:00 a.m.

     - V1 cafeteria

        * Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, gray and black

  • Bikes (3):

o   Between 2:30 p.m. Sept. 10th  and 9:20 a.m. Sept. 11th

     - bike rack outside main entrance to East MKV, cable lock was cut

        * Ladies Norco 21 speed mountain bike, dark red

o   Between 11:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 6th

     - bike rack outside B1, cable lock was cut

       * Men’s Da Vinci mountain bike, green

o   Between 12:05 p.m. Sept. 5th to 8:00 p.m. Sept. 8th

      - bike rack between B1 and ESC

         * Men’s Diamondback, black and grey

Vandalism:

UWPS are investigating an incident of graffiti on campus;

On Sept. 11th UWPS found writing on an exterior wall of the Davis Centre in an alcove across from the bus stop.  The words “Consume Conform Consume Conform” were stenciled in red and yellow paint. There have been 5 previous findings of this type of graffiti on campus this year.
