2020 Israel-Palestine Study Tour application, August 14-28

PSCI 493 001 Israel-Palestine Study Tour

Application due date:

January 25, with an initial deposit due January 29.


Priority will be given to students in at least 3A, with a minimum cumulative average of 75%.

Important Information:

  1. All students who are interested in the Study Tour (August 14-28, 2020) must submit an application package. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Qualifying students will be invited to an interview with a panel of professors. After all the interviews are completed, we will notify the students who have been selected to go on the trip.

  2. Students interested in traveling to Israel should carefully consider (i) whether they are likely to be able to get a visa for travel, and (ii) whether having an Israeli visa in their passport will hinder their ability to travel to other parts of the world they may wish to visit.

  3. The cost of this trip, in addition to tuition costs for this course, will be between $5000 and $6000 (not including personal travel expenses for souvenirs, gifts, snacks, some meals, etc.). Some subsidies may also be available as well as UWaterloo scholarships/awards.
