Dear Fall Class of 2016:

I’ve chatted with many students preparing for Convocation this fall, and it’s inspiring to hear about your plans. Whether it’s moving onto career opportunities, travel, or more scholarship, your energy is absolutely infectious.

Sometimes when chatting with grads before or even during Convocation, I’m asked for advice: about everything from choosing your next academic program to pursuing your career goals.

Since I won’t have a chance to connect with every Fall 2016 graduating student in person, let me ask here: what’s on your mind about your post-Convocation plans as you prepare for your next adventure as Waterloo Alumni?

Ask me your questions on Facebook or Twitter, using the hashtag #uWaterlooGrad - and remember to identify your Faculty so I know which ceremony you belong to. I'll answer some of your questions via social media, and may even select a special few to answer during my speech at Convocation.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

A final note: when I visited first-year lectures this fall to welcome our newest Warriors to campus, I always told them: don't leave your classroom without having your questions answered.

Same lesson, grads — just a bigger scale!
