This week the University of Waterloo celebrates the hard work and dedication of our undergraduate and graduate students. A total of 5,784 degrees will be conferred as our campus welcomes thousands of friends and family. With pride, the University community commends the academic and professional achievements of the graduates during the university’s 60th anniversary year. As our students move into the next stages of their lives as alumni, we are confident that the ideas developed during their studies and co-operative education will disrupt the future on a global scale.
For greater detail on how the University of Waterloo looks to the future with our graduates, I have written an op-ed for The Record.
