New funding from NSERC

PN Lab director Dr. Peter Hall has received a 5-year NSERC Discovery Grant to support studies of indulgent eating using theta-burst brain stimulation paradigms.  In part, this work will explore stimulation targets and timelines to quantify thier impact on eating outcomes.

Family medicine

PN Lab alumnus Dr. Dimitar Kolev (BSc '15, SPHHS) is completing his first year medical residency at the McMaster University Centre for Family Medicine in downtown Kitchener. We had a chance to catch up this week; Dimitar feels that one of the highlights of his residency is the opportunity to work in many different settings, with a wide variety of patients.
