An approved application form for course enrolment is required for these courses:

PSYCH 264 and 464 - Research Apprenticeship

If interested in an unpaid apprenticeship in a psychology research lab for one academic term, consider one of PSYCH 264 or PSYCH 464. Either course is worth .5 academic units. Enrolment is possible Fall, Winter, or Spring term. Grading is on a credit (CR) versus no credit (NCR) basis.

PSYCH 465 - Applied Apprenticeship

PSYCH 465 is available Winter term only, and involves a weekly seminar component plus an unpaid apprenticeship in an applied setting (other than human resources) in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.  The course is worth .5 academic units. Grading is on a credit (CR) versus no credit (NCR) basis.

Winter 2016: PSYCH 465 will not be offered. Next offering unknown.

Winter 2015:

PSYCH 467 - Human Resources Apprenticeship

PSYCH 467 is available Winter term only, and involves a weekly seminar component plus an unpaid apprenticeship in a human resources setting in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.  The course is worth .5 academic units. Grading is on a credit (CR) versus no credit (NCR) basis.

Winter 2016: PSYCH 467 will not be offered. Next offering unknown.

Winter 2015:

PSYCH 480, 481, 482, 483, 484, 485, 486 – Directed Studies

Directed Studies courses (PSYCH 480-486) provide opportunities for students to work one-on-one with faculty members in an area of interest to the student. Enrolment is possible Fall, Winter, or Spring term. Grading is on a numerical grading basis.

PSYCH 480, 481, 482, 485, 486 (.5 academic units each) provide opportunities to study material that is not available in an existing PSYCH courses.

PSYCH 483 and PSYCH 484 (.5 academic units each) provide opportunities to gain additional research experience.
