We are currently seeking a dedicated and ambitious IT Recruiter for a 14 month contract to cover for a maternity leave, with the chance of conversion to full-time permanent position. This role will be based at our Waterloo office location. The preferred candidate will be coming from 1-3 years of IT Recruitment experience, self-starter, with a dedicated and outgoing professional attitude.

This role will entail screening IT candidates for contract and full-time positions, coordinating interviews, creation of Staffing Agreements and potential elements of New Business Development. This contract opportunity will include base salary plus commission.

IT Recruiter

14 month contract to cover a maternity leave with chance of conversion to full-time permanent

  • Working alongside the Professional Services Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager the IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for contract and permanent positions with FoxNet clients
  • Recruitment for a variety of positions related to Information Technology including: Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Network Engineers, PC Technicians and Quality Assurance
  • Previous experience using Applicant Tracking systems is preferred ex. (Bullhorn)
  • Creation of Job postings
  • Out of the box thinking with regards to sourcing talent through a variety of traditional and non-traditional methods – LinkedIn Recruiter, Job postings, Meetup Groups, Local Events
  • Scheduling of interviews, meetings and events
  • Attend and represent FoxNet at job fairs, Trade Shows and Community Events, occasionally needing to stay after hours
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients – Stakeholders and technical teams
  • Manage contract employees while on assignments – ensuring professionalism, guidance and support
  • Set-up and on-boarding of new hires
  • Dedicated, outgoing and professional attitude that is open to learning, growing and working as a team
