4A Honours Arts and Business, Major in Speech Communication, Minor in Legal Studies and Human Resources Management, Specializing in Technical Writing and a Diploma in French Studies
After taking HRM 200, I was intrigued to further pursue the minor to further develop my knowledge, skills, and expertise in the various areas of Human Resources Management. Over the years, I have truly enjoyed studying Compensation, Labour Relations, and Training and Development, which are all areas I will be pursuing in my career. In terms of post-graduation, I hope to complete my CHRP Designation and a joint MBA-JD degree, and eventually be settled into Corporate Law with a specialization in Talent Acquisition and Labour Relations.

3B Honours Liberal Studies, Minor in Human Resources Management
I come from a family of entrepreneurs and therefore, have first-hand experience of a business environment and have become passionate about it. Hence, I decided to further my career in the field, with a specialisation in HRM. I believe people are a vital part of any organisation. I wanted to understand how people work and how they play an important part in building an organisation. People are a company’s most important asset, it is they who manage everything from customer experience to building and delivering your products. Making sure that we have a healthy work environment will ensure a loyal workforce. Therefore I decided to pursue a minor in HRM so that I would be able to help create a healthy workplace. The program that the university provides is exciting and challenging at the same time.
I hope to land a job in human resources after I graduate so I can nurture my love for it.

4A Honours Arts and Business, Major in French, Minor in Human Resources Managment
Hi, I’m Anna Lennox! I’m in my 4A, Honours Arts and Business, majoring in French and minoring in Human Resources Management. I didn’t start my minor until the end of my second year. During my first co-op job, I was working in marketing, and my supervisor encouraged me to be involved in the hiring process of the student who would take over my position. I was really excited to take on that task and actually took the lead on conducting interviews and ultimately made the hiring decision. I enjoyed the experience so much that I returned to school for the next term and added a minor in HRM. Since then, I’ve completed a work term in Talent Acquisition, which I loved! After graduation, I hope to acquire my CHRP and would love to work in student & campus recruitment.
I am happy to talk with any students!
3B Honours Co-op Public Health, Minor in Human Resources Management
I decided to add the Human Resources Management Minor onto my Public Health degree in my second year after taking the Introduction to Human Resources class. Taking that class really opened my eyes to a greater possibility of careers outside my field. I am hoping to combine my knowledge in Human Resources and Public Health into a career in the management of retirement homes once I graduate. But no matter where my career path takes me, I know that the Human Resources Management Minor has given me the skills be a great leader in the workplace.
I am happy to talk with any students!
