Hi5 Challenge

The Hi5 Challenge is a freestyle competition that encourages high school students to develop creative solutions to pressing health issues through the use of information technology. This is a great opportunity for students in grade 11 and 12 interested in health care, technology, or business.

This year's theme is Mental Health. We are inviting students to come up with innovative ideas that use information technology to solve mental health issues common to adolescents. This is a freestyle competition and students can submit their ideas in any format before the deadline.

Students could win FitBit smartwatches, Hi5 Challenge plaques, prize packs from the School of Public Health and Health Systems, and/or an invitation to visit the university for the award ceremony and to meet Public Health and Health Systems professors.

The deadline for this competition is May 30, 2019. Please visit the Hi5 Challenge website for more information.
