SUMMARY:Symplectic Birational Involutions of manifolds of OG10 type
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:LISA MARQUAND\, STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY\n\nCompact Hyperkähler
manifolds are one of the building blocks of\nKähler manifolds with trivia
l first Chern class\, but very few\nexamples are known. One strategy for p
otentially finding new examples\nis to look at finite groups of symplectic
automorphisms of the known\nexamples and study the fixed loci or quotient
. In this talk\, we will\nobtain a classification of birational symplecti
c involutions of\nmanifolds of OG10 type. We do this from three vantage po
ints: via\ninvolutions of the Leech lattice\, via involutions of cubic fo
 urfolds\,\nand lattice enumeration via a modified Kneser’s neighbor\nalg
orithm. In particular\, we exhibit geometric realizations of these\ninvol
utions in three cases. If time permits\, we will mention ongoing\nwork to
identify the fixed loci in one of these examples.\n\nMC 5417
