SUMMARY:Kawaguchi-Silverman Conjecture for Projectivized Bundles over Curve
 s
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:SASHA ZOTINE\, QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY\n\nThe Kawaguchi-Silverman Co
njecture (KSC) is a recent conjecture\nequating two invariants of a domina
nt rational map between projective\nvarieties: the first dynamical degree
and arithmetic degree. The first\ndynamical degree measures the topologica
l mixing of the map\, and the\narithmetic degree measures how complicated
rational points become\nafter iteration. Recently\, the conjecture was est
ablished for several\nclasses of varieties\, including projectivized bundl
es over any\nnon-elliptic curve. We will discuss my recent work with Brett
\nNasserden to resolve the elliptic case\, hence proving KSC for all\nproj
ectivized bundles over curves. \n\nQNC 2501
