“Hilbert Scheme of Points: Non-singularity”

Last time, we showed, via Grbner degeneration techniques, that the Hilbert scheme of points in the affine plane is connected. We will continue our efforts and show that the scheme is non-singular. This will involve an interesting argument in constructing a spanning set for the cotangent space at a set of distinguished points.
