"Recent Advances in Dynamical Sampling"

Sampling theory has developed very fast in the last decades. Not only its results have a significant impact on applications (starting with Shannon in 1949), but also from a theoretical perspective, it is very interesting and profound. In this talk, I will describe Dynamical Sampling, which is a novel theory in Sampling. Their results require the use of notions and techniques from different areas of mathematics such as operator theory, spectral theory, harmonic analysis, and complex analysis in the unit disc.
