"Tensor algebras and Subproduct systems arising from Stochastic matrices”

”In this talk we discuss subproduct systems in the sense of Shalit and Solel and their associated tensor algebras. We focus on those arising from stochastic matrices and exhibit the following results for them: Two such subproduct systems X and Y are unitarily isomorphic (up to a *-automorphism) if and only if their tensor algebras T+(X) and T+(Y ) are isometrically isomorphic. Moreover, for finite matrices the associated subproduct systems X and Y are similar (up to a *-automorphism) if and only if their tensor algebras T+(X) and T+(Y ) are (algebraically) isomorphic. We provide more characterizations for these two situations for some natural classes of stochastic matrices.”
