"Local Dimensions of Measures of Finite Type"
This
talk
will
examine
the
multifractal
analysis
of
a
particular
class
of
equicontractive
self-similar
measures.
We
will
begin
by
reviewing
known
results
in
the
area.
Our
focus
will
be
on
the
set
of
attainable
local
dimensions
of
these
measures
and
a
systematic
way
of
computing
them.
Several
examples
will
be
discussed.
