  invariant of a smooth\nprojective variety or more generally a compact Kah
 ler manifold X. I\nwill show that if the dimension of X is at least 3 and 
 the nef cone of\nX satisfies several specific conditions (C) then X has no
 \n“interesting” automorphism. A simple heuristic argument shows that\n
 these conditions (C) are expected to hold on a “generic” compact\nKahl
 er manifold.
