 number theory. We will\ngive an overview on new developments in the distri
 bution of class\ngroups with a fixed Galois group. In particular\, we will
  explain the\nuse of symmetry which has been overlooked for decades\, but 
 turns out\nto be an essential tool to obtain many new results on the distr
