DESCRIPTION:HUIXI LI\, NANKAI UNIVERSITY\n\n\"ON COVERING SYSTEMS OF POLYNO
 MIAL RINGS OVER FINITE FIELDS\"\n\nIn 1950\, Erd\\H{o}s posed a question k
nown as the minimum modulus\nproblem on covering systems for $\\mathbb{Z}$
\, which asked whether the\nminimum modulus of a covering system with dist
inct moduli is bounded.\nThis long-standing problem was finally resolved b
y Hough in 2015. In\nthis presentation\, we will discuss the analogous min
imum modulus\nproblem for $\\mathbb{F}_q[x]$. We proof that the smallest d
egree of\nthe moduli in any covering system for $\\mathbb{F}_q[x]$ of\nmul
tiplicity $s$ is bounded by a constant depending only on $s$ and\n$q$. Thi
 s is a joint work with Shaoyun Yi\, Biao Wang\, and Chunlin\nWang. \n\nZo
