SUMMARY:Analysis Seminar
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:JUNICHIRO MATSUDA\, KYOTO UNIVERSITY\n\n\"ALGEBRAIC CONNECTEDNE
SS AND BIPARTITENESS OF QUANTUM GRAPHS\"\n\nQuantum graphs are a non-commu
tative analogue of classical graphs\nrelated to operator algebras\, quantu
 m information\, quantum groups\,\netc. In this talk\, I will give a brief
introduction to quantum graphs\nand talk about spectral characterizations
of properties of quantum\ngraphs. We introduce the notion of connectedness
and bipartiteness of\nquantum graphs in terms of graph homomorphisms\, an
d these properties\nhave algebraic characterizations in the same way as cl
assical cases.\nWe also show the equivalence between bipartiteness and\ntw
o-colorability of quantum graphs defined by two notions of graph\nhomomorp
hisms: one respects adjacency matrices\, and the other respects\nedge spac
es. This talk is based on arXiv:2310.09500.\n\nThis seminar will be held b
oth online and in person:\n\n* Room: MC 5479\n * Zoom link:\nhttps://uwate
