 ams Spectral Sequence\n\nThe Adams Spectral Sequence was introduced by Fra
 nk Adams in his\npaper \"On The Structure and Application of the Streenro
 d Algebra\"\n(1958) with applications to the stable homotopy groups of sph
 eres and\nthe Hopf-Invariant One problem. In the context of the stable hom
 otopy\ncategory it was soon upgraded to the general problem of computing t
 he\ncoefficients of extraordinary cohomology theories.  In this series of
 \nlectures we will outline a construction of the Adams Spectral Sequence\n
 following Ravenel's \"Green Book\"\, and give applications including\ncomp
 utations of some stable homotopy groups of spheres as well as\ncertain Mad
 sen-Tillmann bordism groups which have recently been of\ninterest in the t
 heory of TQFTs. \n\nThe seminar assumes some basic knowledge of algebraic
  topology (in\nparticular homotopy theory and ordinary homology theory) bu
 t is aimed\nto be expository\, introducing the audience to important topol
 ogical\nconcepts such as stable homotopy theory and cohomology operations.
  The\ntopics presented will be roughly in the following order: examples of
 \nthe Leray-Serre spectral sequence\; the Stable Homotopy Category\;\ncons
 truction of the Adams Spectral Sequence\; the Steenrod Algebra and\nits du
