SUMMARY:Logic Seminar
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:COLIN JAHEL (TU DRESDEN)\n\nWhen invariance implies exchangeabi
lity (and what it means for\ninvariant Keisler measures)\n\nLet M be a cou
ntable model-theoretic structure. We study the actions\nof Aut(M) on space
s of expansions of M and more precisely\, the\ninvariant probability measu
res under this action. In particular we are\ninterested in understanding w
hen Aut(M)-invariance actually implies\nS_\\infty invariance. We obtain a
nice classification for many\nclassical structures. Finally we connect thi
s to invariant Keisler\nmeasures\, showing how for many structures\, they
must be\nS_\\infty-invariant. We use this fact to illustrate the differenc
e\nbetween two notion of smallness for formulas\, forking and universal\nm
 easure zero.\n\nMC 5403
