  metrizable spaces.\nEach Knaster continuum is indecomposable-- it cannot 
 be written as the\nunion of two proper nontrivial sub continua. We conside
 r the group\nHomeo(K) of all homeomorphisms of the universal Knaster conti
 nuum\;\nthis is a non-locally compact Polish group. We will describe some\
 n\"large\" topological group phenomena that occur in this group\, in\nrela
 tion to the group's universal minimal flow and its generic\nelements.\n\nM
