DESCRIPTION:MIAO GU\, UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN\n\nOn Triple Product L-functio
 ns\n\nThe Poisson summation conjecture of Braverman-Kazhdan\, Lafforgue\,
Ngo\nand Sakellaridis is an ambitious proposal to prove analytic propertie
s\nof quite general Langlands L-functions using vast generalizations of\nt
he Poisson summation formula. In this talk\, we present the\nconstruction
of a generalized Whittaker induction such that the\nassociated L-function
is the product of the triple product L-function\nand L-functions whose ana
lytic properties are understood. We then\nformulate an extension of the Po
isson summation conjecture and prove\nthat it implies the expected analyti
c properties of triple product\nL-functions. Finally\, we use the fiber bu
ndle method to reduce this\nextended Poisson summation conjecture to a cas
e of the Poisson\nsummation conjecture in which spectral methods can be em
ployed\ntogether with certain local compatibility statements. This is join
 t\nwork with Jayce Getz\, Chun-Hsien Hsu\, and Spencer Leslie.\n\nMC 5479
