 nes embeddable equivalence relation_\n\nConnes embeddability of a group is
  a finite dimensional approximation\nproperty. It turns out this property 
 depends only on the so-called\ngroup von Neumann algebra. The property can
  be extended to all von\nNeumann algebras. The fact that there is a von Ne
 umann algebra without\nthis property was proved in 2020 using the quantum 
 complexity result\nMIP*=RE. It is still open for group von Neumann algebra
 s. I will\ndiscuss the best-known partial result\, which is that there is 
 a group\naction without this property. In particular\, this implies the ne
 gation\nto the Aldous-Lyons conjecture\, a big problem in probability theo
