 ill discuss the dimensional reduction of S^1-invariant\ninstantons on the 
 multi-Taub-NUT space to singular monopoloes on\n\\mathbb{R}^3. I will firs
 t introduce the multi-Taub-NUT space\,\nfollowed up by a discussion on S^1
 -equivariant principal bundles.\nNext\, I will go over the natural decompo
 sition of S^1-invariant\nconnections into horizontal and vertical pieces\,
  and then show how the\nself-duality equation reduces to the Bogomolny equ
 ation under said\ndecomposition. I will then show how the smoothness of th
 e instanton\nover the NUT points determines the asymptotic conditions for 
 the\nsingular monopole. Finally\, I will go over the reverse construction:
 \nstarting with a singular monopole on \\mathbb{R}^3 and building up to\na
 n S^1-invariant instanton on the multi-Taub-NUT space.\n\nMC 5403
